MARKET ANALYSIS

For my Marketing Analytics and AI course, I was tasked with choosing a brand, analyzing the competitors within their industry, their consumer bases, as well as their brand perceptions. I chose to analyze the footwear industry, specifically brands that have received polarized customer opinions, and the company I chose to center my report around was Crocs. I developed a 21 question survey that was distributed to 100 participants, which allowed me gain valuable insights on Crocs, as well as its competitors, Birkenstock, Skechers, UGG, and FILA.

For my Consumer Behavior course, we were given the challenge of identifying a marketing opportunity for a company of our choice. My group decided to focus on Ben and Jerry’s for their emphasis on social issues and past success with their “Do Us a Flavor” contest in 2006. We surveyed 160 individuals in order to finalize the details of our marketing opportunity and to draw conclusions on the viability and success of the proposed campaign.
